New Road Infrastructure Project for Rural Villages

Key Highlights

  • 12 villages now connected with all-weather paved roads
  • Total road length constructed: 48 kilometres
  • Estimated 25,000 families benefit directly from this project
  • Construction completed under budget by ₹1.2 crore
  • 304 local workers employed during construction

We are proud to announce the successful completion of Phase 1 of the Rural Road Infrastructure Drive, which has connected 12 villages with smooth paved roads - transforming the lives of thousands of families who previously struggled with muddy, unpassable tracks during monsoon season.

This landmark project, led by Shri Bhagyeshprajapati in partnership with the Gujarat State Government's infrastructure wing, marks a major milestone in the ongoing mission to bring modern amenities to even the most remote corners of the constituency.

For farmers, the new roads mean faster access to markets, reducing post-harvest losses. For students, it means safe and comfortable commutes to schools and colleges. For healthcare, emergency vehicles can now reach previously inaccessible villages within minutes.

The project also saw the construction of 8 concrete bridges over seasonal water channels, ensuring year-round connectivity even during monsoon flooding - a first for many of these villages.

Phase 2 of the project, slated for Q3 2026, will extend connectivity to another 8 villages. Shri Bhagyeshprajapati has personally committed to overseeing every stage to ensure quality standards are maintained and communities are involved in planning decisions.

This initiative would not have been possible without the support of the people and the dedicated team on the ground. Together, we are building the Gujarat of tomorrow - one road at a time.
